South Shore Centre is the largest enclosed shopping centre on the South Shore of Nova Scotia and offers over 60 stores and services. With national and local retailers we provide a shopping experience to satisfy both visitors and local residents.

Paging is available at the Lotto/Info booth for lost or separated people, seniors, young children and their families.
Scotiabank ATM’s are located at both the mall entrance and outside entrance of Scotiabank. Royal Bank ATM is located outside next to C entrance (Rossy).
Lost and Found
Found items are turned into Security and kept for 30 days. If items are not claimed after this time they are donated to a local charity. If an owner of a found item can be identified they are contacted. If cash is found, the name of the person who found the money is taken and if not claimed within 30 days is contacted to pick up. If that person does not wish to keep it, it will be donated to a local charity. For any inquiries please call Security at 902-521-6528.
The family washroom is located across from the public washrooms. The key is available at the Lotto/Info booth.
A full service post office is located in Shoppers Drug Mart.
Bike racks are located at B entrance (Ardene).
For the convenience of our customers:
- South Shore Centre has over 1,000 parking spaces.
- Vehicles with permits may park in the designated handicapped parking spaces near the mall entrances.
- Expectant mother parking spaces are available.
- Security does frequent patrols of the parking lot areas and will escort customers to their vehicles should they have any safety concerns. For any concerns or inquiries please call Security at 902-521-6528.
We strive to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our customers. Along with close circuit television surveillance, and crime prevention and intervention, our security personnel are responsible for:
- Assisting customers with locations of lost vehicles
- Providing first aid for injuries or illnesses. Security staff are trained in CPR and First Aid.
- Locating lost children
- Operating a lost and found program
- Ensuring personal safety through escorts and constant patrols of the common areas and parking lots
- Security staff acts an important link to Bridgewater Police and other emergency services that may be required. If you require Security for any reason please call 902-521-6528. You can also visit the Lotto/Info Booth or any tenant in South Shore Centre and they can call on your behalf.
Wheelchairs are available on a complimentary first come, first served basis at the Lotto/Info booth. Vehicles with permits may park in the designated parking stalls near the mall entrances. Auto doors are located at the main entrances to the mall. Public washrooms and family washroom are wheelchair accessible.
We realize that our amenities do provide a useful service to many of our visitors however we also do recognize that some may have specific requirements. When safe to do so, any visitor who requires a piece of equipment, or service animal, to accommodate a disability may bring their equipment or animal to South Shore Centre with them.

South Shore Centre gift certificates are the perfect gifts to give any time of the year. Whether for birthdays, Christmas, graduation, or corporate incentive, our gift certificates are sure to make gift giving easier by letting them buy what they want. Gift certificates are available through the administration office in $5, $10, and $20 denominations, and can be paid for by cash, MasterCard, Visa or debit card. Gift certificates can be used in any store in the South South Centre. The administration office is open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
CHARITABLE AND NON-PROFIT GROUPS
Any not for profit charitable groups and/or organizations are eligible to use South Shore Centre’s complimentary community booths or common court areas. We make every effort to assist as many groups as possible, showing our support of charitable organizations and community groups.
These locations must be used for fundraising and information awareness activities only.
South Shore Centre has 2 community booths available to charitable and community groups. One is located by Charm Diamond Centres and the other is located by Pineapple Creek. The centre court and Sobeys Court areas are also available.
Space is limited and booked on a first come, first served basis. Every organization is required to fill out a temporary lease agreement and must supply proof of insurance for a minimum $1 million liability. All organizations and groups must agree to follow our standard rules and regulations.
